A busy week but gaming is coming this weekend

Part of the preparation for The One Ring game is getting my place sorted for guests so a fair bit of re-arranging things. Still a busy day, finish up tidying, continue the figure building I was doing yesterday with a friend because I have a full day tomorrow as in the day I will be wargaming. Specifically Warhammer 40k 7th Ed with my Space Wolves allied with a friend with his Astra Militararum against another with his Ork horde.

After that I leg it back home to do the character generation for the The One Ring rpg. Really forward to this, Middle-Earth is my favourite fantasy world and Cubicle 7 have done brilliantly with the game system. I am not alone in thinking it is best Middle Earth rpg there has been (and I was a big MERP fan back in the day)

Just a little bit of the reading I have ahead of me. The books are beautiful, full colour throughout, full credit to Jon Hodgson as art director, the art is consistently good. The standard of rpg books is really high these days and these books are right at the top.
