Game on

Tues night's D&D is going well. I am having fun with the warlock character. I do really like the spell options and the eldritch invocations. I aim to emphasise his dealings with other world power of the Great Old One that is my patron

Tonight I am running the second session of The One Ring. The guy really enjoyed the first session and I will spend this afternoon prepping the session. The system really has an elegent dice mechanic. Roll a number of D6 based on your skill plus a D12 called the feat die and you need to beat a target number with one exception. On the feat die, if you roll a 12, or gandalf rune if you have the specific dice for the game, you pass the test i.e. you always have a chance of passing the test which I think helps the heroic feel of the game.

Right off to do a run and then lunch and game prep.
